Who Can Take This Course

  • Did you take a course before and just never pursued a pharmacy career after graduation? 


  • Are you currently working as a pharmacy technician but are not certified?  


  • Are you more focused now and ready to be that certified pharmacy technician?  

If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this Pharmacy Technician course is just for you.  

Because of the rapid changes in health care, new drug treatments, and technology, pharmacy technicians must keep up to date.

Your NHA/CPhT certification must be renewed every 2 years to stay current. 

During the two-year period before recertification, certified pharmacy technicians must:

  • Participate in at least 20 hours of continuing education (CE)
  • at least one hour of the 20 hours must be in Pharmacy Law
  • at least one hour of the 20 hours must be in Patient Safety
