This course is designed to refresh the memory of those students who took a pharmacy technician course before, or currently working as a certified pharmacy technician and do not need to take ExCPT certification exam.

Enrollment Requirements

The NHA/CPhT certification must be renewed every 2 years to stay current. 

During the two-year period prior to recertification, certified pharmacy technicians must:

 

  • Participate in at least 20 hours of continuing education (CE)
  • at least one hour of the 20 hours must be in Pharmacy Law
  • at least one hour of the 20 hours must be in Patient Safety
